Hi! Welcome to In Fine Taste!
We are Dianna and Alyssa, a mother-daughter duo, recipe creators, writers, and photographers for In Fine Taste. Food is our love language and we've made it our goal in life to create and make the tastiest recipes out there.
Eating, cooking, and creating are our passion! We are of the mindset that you should live to eat, not eat to live. We draw inspiration from places we've lived, restaurants we've tried, and of course, places we've visited. Whenever we are traveling, hitting the local grocery store to see what local ingredients, snacks, and delicacies are on the shelves is always at the top of our list.
Fun Fact: We've lived all over the United States including California, Louisiana, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Nevada, and Utah.
Some of our passions are food science and learning. We love learning about the chemical makeup of foods and how they interact and affect each other. We believe in learning as much as we can about flavors, ingredients, and different cooking and baking techniques. These basics enable us to become better recipe developers and share those recipes and techniques with you.
We want to inspire people to get back in the kitchen. We are excited to share our recipes with you and hope you'll enjoy our blog.
We have appeared multiple times on television programs like Good Things Utah and Studio 5 with Brooke Walker. Our work has also been featured on media outlets such as Better Homes and Gardens, Utah Valley Bride, The FeedFeed, Kansas Living Magazine, SF Gate, and NBC Los Angeles.
We've worked with some great companies like Dole Sunshine, Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, Tony Chachere's, and Nature's Flavors.

Meet Alyssa
I am a mom of three, wife, and trained costume designer. Before taking on In Fine Taste full time, I worked in Los Angeles doing costumes for theatre, film, and live events.
Besides baking, I am passionate about running, lifting weights, and treats. You can always count on me to tell you where to find the best doughnuts in town and to have tried the latest Oreo flavor.
I currently reside with my husband and family in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Meet Dianna
I live with my husband in Las Vegas, Nevada and am a mom to four grown kids (including Alyssa!). Over the years I have worked as a culinary arts teacher, caterer, food writer, and restaurant public relations consultant.
My favorite things are traveling, swimming, riding my bike, eating chips and salsa (ask me what restaurants have the best chips and salsa!), and being a Nanna to my grandkids!
