Our fresh watermelon slush is something I make and drink all summer long! It’s the perfect way to use up all that leftover watermelon from your last barbecue. It’s light and refreshing, with a hint of lime and basil or mint!
Place 5 cups of cubed watermelon on a tray lined with foil or parchment paper and freeze for 1-2 hours.
Add the frozen watermelon to your blender with your lime zest, lime juice, and mint or basil and blend until smooth.
If your watermelon slush needs to be sweeter add 2 teaspoons of honey. If your slush isn’t icy enough, add a few ice cubes at a time, blending in between until the right consistency is reached. If your slush is too thick or icy add a little water and blend until smooth
