Pineapple Salsa

Pineapple salsa is fresh, sweet, tangy and spicy! A perfect dip for tortilla chips or as a sauce over meats, tacos, burritos, etc.

Ingredients

Roma tomatoes
chopped
One medium onion
chopped

cup
fresh cilantro
chopped

20 oz. ounce can crushed pineapple, not drained
½
cup
lime juice
2 to 3
jalapeño peppers
seeded and chopped
Two cloves garlic
minced

tablespoon
sugar

teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. (If you prefer chunky salsa, just chop ingredients and combine everything in a bowl.)
Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least two hours so flavors can combine.
Serve with tortilla chips or on top of the tacos, fish or your favorite Mexican dish.
Notes
This recipe makes a lot, but then you always need a lot of salsa to go with your tortilla chips!
